June 2010 - Can we be moving into summer? The Alliums are out in force, even A. cristophii normally a little later than the others is ready to burst. My Roses are covered with buds too, the exquisite 'Souvenir du Docteur Jamain' which has been ever so slow to establish is smothered in flowers, in deep shades of crimson that gets darker with age, i can't pass it with out having to stick my nose deep into the petals, the Rosa 'Comte de Chambord' which i planted bare rooted into frozen ground the week before christmas (!please do not take this as a recommendation!) is also smothered in buds i can't wait, those two are most definitely my two most favorite roses at present so it is a treat to finally have them both in my own garden.

May 2010 - What a month! The sun came out and stayed out, allowing everything to finally get out of the ground, apart from a few cold nights that hit a few people down on the allotments summer seemed to be finally on the way. My Garden somehow benefited from the fact that i was so busy at the end of last year that i didn't plant my bulbs until december. it meant that i had Narcissus, Muscari and Tulips all out at the same time. The month ended with the Chelsea Flower Show and a wonderful week once again, what i loved was the simplicity of the majority of gardens, there was a pared down elegance and a manageable essence that you could most definitely replicate without a huge budget but possibly a little more space than london often affords us. I ended the month in Croatia, picking wildflowers and relaxing in the meadow surrounded by an amazing selection of flora and fauna, true perfection.

February 2010 - We are still looking for someone to rent the third desk in our office. Lovely quiet environment suitable for someone currently working at home and wanting to separate the two, very reasonable rent, office in Fulham,  please get in touch for more details.
